How can I start? This was my first "organized" trip. I am a very independent person, I like to organize everything by myself, I use to travel in Europe by my own; but I thought it would be better that the trip to Cambodia to be arranged by an agency. To be honest, I was a little bit afraid of the idea of having a guide, to have a fixed program every day. But all my fears flew away at the airport at Siem Reap when I first met Vibol: "Hello, my name is Vibol and I will be your guide for the next twelve days". He was not how I expected to be! Vibol was a fabulous guide, very well organized, knowledgeable and helpful and very friendly. His competence, patience and fluent English highly impressed me. More that this, he understood from the first day what I wanted from that trip (just to know the country and understand its people and their history; no fancy places, no late waking up). I can only recommend Vibol not only to my friends (who are now very jealous and are thinking about coming to Cambodia next year) but also to anyone who is not afraid of experiment something new.
